About Cameron

          Cameron King, Tenor, grew up in Central Florida as a performer of both voice and oboe. He was involved with local and school theatre, various opera ensembles, and both solo and ensemble based instrumental performances. In pursuit of his career, Cameron chose to follow classical voice and has studied with esteemed coaches in Central and North Florida, as Well as in Boston, MA.

          Cameron is currently an active performer and student based in Tallahassee, FL. While earning a degree in vocal performance at Florida State University as a student of Dr. Jeffrey Springer, Cameron has appeared in operatic classics such as Puccini's La Boheme, Marschner's Der Vampyr, Gluck's Orphée et Eurydice, Berlioz's Béatrice et Bénédict, and Gilbert and Sullivan's Patience, as well as modern works like Floyd's Of Mice and Men. Cameron also performed with Teatro Lirico D'Europa in a traveling performance of Puccini's Tosca.

          Due to COVID-19, the performance of Verdi's Falstaff has been delayed, but Cameron will still be active on the stage in private concert. Updates on Cameron's upcoming performances can be found on the home page.
